Commemorating Eid al-Adha 1447 H, the UNTAG Cirebon Extended Family Holds a Congregational Prayer

CIREBON, May 27, 2026 – Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Cirebon (UNTAG Cirebon) organized a series of activities to commemorate the Eid al-Adha 1447 H. The entire extended family of lecturers, staff, and foundation administrators gathered to perform the Eid al-Adha congregational prayer and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood through a social gathering.

The Eid al-Adha prayer was centered at the Al-Istiqomah Mosque, located in the front yard area of the UNTAG Cirebon campus. Since early morning, the congregation consisting of the entire extended family had gathered in the mosque area to chant the takbir together.

At exactly 06:15 WIB, the Eid al-Adha prayer began. Acting as the imam and khatib (preacher) on this noble occasion was the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UNTAG Cirebon, Dr. H. Ade Setiadi, Drs., M.M.

In his sermon after the prayer, profound messages were delivered regarding the essence of sacrifice, sincerity, and social care contained within the values of the qurbani worship. This momentum was also interpreted as a reflection for all educational institution administrators to continuously improve dedication and togetherness in advancing the campus.

After the series of worship at the Al-Istiqomah Mosque concluded, the entire extended family of UNTAG Cirebon moved the activity to the Ki Hajar Dewantara Hall. In that room, the event continued with a communal dining session. This banquet became a warm space for leaders, lecturers, and staff to mingle, forgive one another, and strengthen the sense of kinship in an atmosphere full of the holiday’s blessings.
