CIREBON – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (Untag) Cirebon has just completed an important agenda in the effort to improve academic quality. The D3 Accounting Study Program underwent a Field Assessment (AL) process as part of the accreditation stages to ensure that the quality of education and governance of the study program comply with national standards.
The assessment activity, which lasted for two days, precisely from April 7 to 8, presented two experts as the assessor team. The team consisted of Dr. Sudrajat, S.E., M.Acc., Akt., CA, who is an academic from the University of Lampung, and Theresia Tyas Listyani, SE., M.Si from the Semarang State Polytechnic.

Opening and Verification Series
The assessment process began with an opening ceremony attended by the ranks of university and faculty leaders. The opening agenda was filled with the delivery of official remarks from the Rector of Untag Cirebon. In addition, the two assessors also gave a foreword regarding the objectives and technical implementation of the field assessment to be conducted during the two days.
During the visitation period, the assessor team conducted an in-depth verification of various aspects of the accreditation instruments. The focus of the assessment included the availability of infrastructure, the adequacy of curriculum documents, the learning process, up to the achievements of students and lecturers. Dialogues between the assessor team and study program managers, lecturers, students, as well as graduate users became a crucial point in validating the previously reported data.

Signing of the Minutes and Closing
The entire series of assessment activities ended on the second day with comprehensive results. The closing procession was marked by the signing of the minutes of the field assessment results by the faculty and the assessor team.
The document of the minutes was officially handed over to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNTAG Cirebon, Dr. Heriyono, SE., M.Si., and the Head of the D3 Accounting Study Program, Kresnha, SE., MM. The handover of this document serves as a symbol that the field verification stage has been completed according to procedure.

It is hoped that the results of this field assessment can make a positive contribution to the accreditation ranking of the D3 Accounting Study Program. In addition, input from the assessors can serve as a basis for continuous development to produce accounting graduates who are competent and competitive in the professional world.
